I have tried repeatedly to contact this place regarding my acne medication they tried to prescribed me, I can't take it due to anaphylaxis! Finally got through to someone at that point mad and told them to cancel it all. They said it's too late to cancel some because it ship ped, it didn't ship, it was preparing! So I am stuck with a medication I can't use and out money. Secondly they don't tell you this is what your insurance is requiring as a copay ok to proceed!!! Here nor there terrible company don't use!!!!

Nurx - Do not use - utilized another source.

Representative did not forward my request for a prescription to any physician nor any pharmacy after consultation. Sure I paid the $15 dollars for the consultation but with a representative and not a physician. The representative did mention they would contact a physician to contact my pharmacist to process my prescription. However, today I contact my pharmacist and no physician had called in to process my request. In essence stay away and don't use this site for any consultation and definitely not for processing of prescriptions. The best alternative is to find a local clinic for your medical concerns. Unfortunately, many as myself has been scammed out of monies associated with this site. I normally do my research prior to giving money, which I did and after reading the reviews which seemed hidden from me the first time I read the comments. Then I retrieved the reviews on the BBB site, and comments are stating to avoid this website and or do not utilize for any processing of prescription. Thanks for reading.

Great Service

I've been using Nurx off and on for years. They are incredibly convenient to get prescribed birth control and STD medication. I don't agree with the other reviews about shipment processing times. When I start a new pack I ALWAYS have an extra pack on hand because Nurx sends out birth control in advance to prevent users from missing pills, so even if a shipment was delayed I would not miss a pill. I get a 3 month supply of Nurx on hand which is the default for Nurx, but you can always change your next refill date if you need it sooner. As for their customer service, their response time are a bit lengthy. It can take up to 5 days to receive a response at times. They are usually flooded with messages, and If you have lots of questions you mayy be disappointed by their response and lack of options to contact a medical doctor. Nevertheless, Nurx is not a scam and they provide great birth control and they accept insurance. It saves me a doctor visit and their out-of-pocket prices are good.

This is the best birth control prescribing website I've used

Never had issues with them unlike some other company (*cough*SimpleHealth*cough*). They actually listen to the patients.

Misleading

Misleading, was charged $90 for nothing. Even if you decide to not take the test. After signing up always problems logging into the website. They text you but you can't read the messages.... :( Can I get a refund?

Worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

Everything is wonderful.....except the customer service is the absolute worst and has ruined my entire experience with this company. I've used this service for at least three years (or more maybe?) and December 2020 was the start of the worst experience of my life that last almost the entire month and on into January.
They completely ignored multiple of my messages when my order was waaayy late, potentially lost, and then tracking said was delivered when it wasn't. I cannot stop my birth control bc of medical issues and they could not care less. The anxiety as I got closer and closer to running out of medication was ridiculous and not something I should have had to go through.
Thankfully, my shipment magically appeared in the mail 9 days after tracking said it was delivered. USPS for the win....Nurx for the ridiculous and disgraceful loss.

Haven’t had any issues so far

Haven’t had any issues so far with the company outside of delayed response on messages and slight frustration of out of pocket costs while using insurance. If you’re on an HSA, they are not considered in network and as such you will end up paying a percentage after testing, which takes more than a month to get the bill from the lab they use. Other than that testing was easy to do and quick results, also was able to work with a gyn on any issues that had to be resolved through pharmacy and etc. Makes it more convenient when you’re not able to make it into an actual office.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE

If you’re looking for someone to give you the prescription of PrEP. Definitely not here.
I had to wait for a month then I can get to my new insurance network, which will be accepted by my family doctor. So I decided to try Nurx.
But every times, it took 5-7 days to move a small step. And they charged me $35 for home testing kit. If I’ve known they will wasted my 22 days and still didn’t mail the PrEP out. I’m definitely gonna wait for seeing my family doctor to get all test for FREE.
So on the day 23, I already met my family doctor and requested everything directly from him.
For all those people who haven’t tried it yet, well, Nurx is definitely NOT WORTH you to try. AND IT IS TOTALLY TIME WASTING.
